WHAT WE DELIVER

Change what the business actually needs.

A missing approval step or an awkward report can create work across several departments. We review the gap, check the standard options and implement the change that makes sense for your setup.

Approvals & controls

Adapt purchase, discount and other approval routes around your authorised roles and limits.

Business documents

Adjust quotations, invoices and other layouts with the fields and approved language requirements you need.

Reports & dashboards

Create useful operational views with agreed filters, calculations and source records.

Forms & views

Make information easier to enter, review and find for the people using the process.

Workflow automation

Reduce repeated steps with appropriate rules, notifications and approved actions.

Testing & handover

Check the change with users and document its dependencies and maintenance needs.

IS THIS THE RIGHT SERVICE?

For the gaps between software and routine.

01

An approval holds up work

Route decisions to the right person with the right information.

02

A report needs manual work

Bring an agreed calculation or view closer to the source records.

03

The document is not quite right

Add the details customers, suppliers and accounts need.

THE RESULT OF THE WORK

Know what
you’ll receive.

Each engagement has agreed deliverables and a named owner for the next step.

OUR APPROACH

A clear route from enquiry to handover.

  1. 01

    Review the gap

Look at the current workflow and expected result.

  2. 02

    Choose the approach

Check configuration, Studio or a custom module.

  3. 03

    Build & test

    Validate normal transactions and exceptions.

  4. 04

    Release

Approve the change and hand over the details.

CHOOSE THE LIGHTEST SUITABLE APPROACH

Configuration, Studio, code or integration?

The business outcome comes first. The implementation method follows the requirement, hosting and maintenance responsibilities.

01

Standard configuration

Use existing settings, access rights, approval options and documented workflows first.

Lowest custom maintenance
02

Odoo Studio

Consider supported field, view and automation changes when the edition and hosting permit them.

Review portability and limits
03

Custom module

Use version-controlled code for defined logic that standard tools cannot meet.

Specify ownership and tests
04

External integration

Keep cross-system record ownership, mapping, retries and reconciliation in a separate interface scope.

Plan monitoring and support

Upgrade check: record dependencies, version compatibility, source access and the party responsible for adapting the change later.

A LITTLE MORE DETAIL

Worth clarifying
before we start.

Configuration or custom development?

We check standard settings first. More involved business logic may need a custom module and a suitable hosting environment. The approach is agreed before work begins.

Will changes affect future upgrades?

Custom changes and third-party dependencies may need adaptation on a later Odoo version. We identify those responsibilities in the scope.

How do you prevent unnecessary custom work?

Write the business outcome and test examples first, then demonstrate the nearest standard workflow. Approve a change only where the remaining gap has enough value to justify its implementation and future maintenance.

What belongs in the handover?

Record the requirement, chosen method, affected models or settings, access rules, dependencies, test evidence, deployment notes, source location where applicable and the party responsible for support and future upgrades.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

A few useful answers.

Have a question about your setup?

Speak to the team
Can you change an existing custom module?

We first review the source, licence rights, version and current behaviour, then confirm what can be modified.

Can Odoo Online be customised?

Configuration and some Studio changes may be possible on the appropriate plan. Arbitrary custom server modules require a different deployment approach.

Can documents include Arabic?

Bilingual layout requirements can be assessed. Approved translations, required fields and the final exported result need checking with your team.

How is a report accepted?

We agree the source records, filters and expected calculation, then compare the output against an approved sample.

How is customisation different from development?

Customisation describes the business change required. Development is the engineering method used when configuration or supported tools cannot deliver it. A customisation may need no code, while development should follow a written specification.

Can we remove a customisation later?

That depends on its design and data impact. The release plan should describe dependencies, stored records, rollback conditions and whether removing the change requires a migration or cleanup step.
