WHAT WE DELIVER

Connect the tools your business relies on.

We map what each system needs to exchange, choose the right connector approach and test the full transaction. The aim is less re-entry and a clear way to spot and resolve failed transfers.

Ecommerce & marketplaces

Assess orders, products, stock, returns and fulfilment between Odoo and the sales platform.

Payments

Map transaction references, fees, settlements and refunds to the records accounts needs.

Shipping & logistics

Exchange delivery requests, tracking and shipment updates with supported providers.

CRM & business apps

Keep agreed customer and operational records aligned across your existing tools.

Attendance & devices

Review supported attendance, barcode or other device connections against the workflow.

Monitoring & recovery

Build in traceable errors, controlled retries and checks against duplicate records.

IS THIS THE RIGHT SERVICE?

When separate systems create extra work.

01

Orders are entered twice

Move approved order details from the sales channel into Odoo.

02

Stock figures do not agree

Define the stock owner and the updates other systems receive.

03

Payments need chasing

Connect settlement evidence with invoices and refunds.

THE RESULT OF THE WORK

Know what
you’ll receive.

Each engagement has agreed deliverables and a named owner for the next step.

OUR APPROACH

A clear route from enquiry to handover.

  1. 01

    Map the systems

Agree records, ownership and business rules.

  2. 02

    Connect

Configure or build the approved interface.

  3. 03

    Test the full flow

Include changes, returns and failure recovery.

  4. 04

    Go live

Reconcile results and hand over monitoring.

DESIGN FOR THE EXCEPTIONS

A connection your team can operate.

The successful path is only part of an integration. Returns, corrections, outages and expired credentials also need an agreed route.

01

Record ownership

Name the system that creates and controls each customer, product, order, payment and stock record.

02

Identifiers & mapping

Define unique keys, required fields, transformations and the treatment of unmatched records.

03

Failure & safe retry

Log failed transactions, assign an owner and prevent replay from creating duplicate documents.

04

Reconciliation

Compare source, transfer and destination totals so missing or duplicated activity becomes visible.

Operational ownership: identify who receives alerts, who can correct mappings, who approves replay and who confirms the final financial or stock result.

A LITTLE MORE DETAIL

Worth clarifying
before we start.

Can we use an existing connector?

We assess its features, licence, version compatibility and exception handling. An existing connector can be suitable if it covers the actual workflow.

What if an external system is unavailable?

The design defines failed-record handling, safe retries and an alert owner, so recovery can take place without creating duplicates.

What should the data-flow specification contain?

List each record and event, source and destination, direction, unique identifier, required fields, transformation rules, frequency, permissions, failure handling, retention and the owner responsible for reconciliation.

How is the integration handed over?

Provide connection ownership, credential-management responsibilities, mapping notes, monitoring and alert routes, retry instructions, known provider limits, test evidence and the process for reviewing provider or API changes.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

A few useful answers.

Have a question about your setup?

Speak to the team
Can you connect Shopify or WooCommerce?

These platforms can be assessed against your Odoo version, plan, connector options and required order flow. Compatibility is confirmed during scoping.

Do we need API access?

It depends on the interface. We check Odoo plan permissions and the external provider’s current access requirements before confirming the approach.

Are provider fees included?

The proposal identifies external subscriptions, connector licences, transaction charges and maintenance separately.

Can you fix a connection we already use?

Start with the current connector, affected transactions and authorised access. The review establishes the fault, dependencies and repair scope.

How do you prevent duplicate orders or payments?

Use stable external identifiers, idempotent processing where supported, explicit update rules and controlled replay. Test repeated messages and delayed provider responses before launch.

Who monitors the integration after launch?

The support agreement should name the monitoring owner, alert recipients, service coverage, provider dependencies and the person responsible for business reconciliation.
